Beer Loses, Liquor Wins in Pennsylvania

Pennsylvania is an important beer drinking control state, and many brewers, importers and distributors were hoping to get a bill passed which would have allowed the "Home D" distributors to sell beer on Sunday, just as taverns are able to do today. Their effort is lead by a coalition of brewers, importers, and distributors called MOBL (Modernize Our Beer Laws) and the Pennsylvania Beer Wholesalers Association (see BBD 10/03/2004).
