Despite a slow start due to Super Bowl timing and unfortunate weather, beer industry sales-to-retailers are picking up again, according to sources. Indeed, beer volume has grown 0.4% in IRI supermarket scans for the last eight weeks (cycling an easy -1.5% comp), with supermarket prices increasing 2.4%.Brewery trends are holding pat: A-B lost almost a point and Miller has lost 0.2 points, while Coors has gained 0.2 points against easy comparisons.
