The last time Miller had their annual distributor sales meeting in New Orleans was March 29, 2004, a year and some change before the Katrina disaster. That meeting was the first in years where Miller Lite was starting to get some momentum, and Norman introduced to distributors for the first time the idea of the "able challenger." In many ways, that 2004 meeting was a turning point in Miller's fortunes and relationship with distributors. Much has changed in New Orleans
