April Showers: Scans Dip Negative to Start Q2

Dear Client: After a relatively encouraging start to the year, beer scans appear to have lost a little momentum in April.  Circana scans show beer dollars declined 2.6% in the four weeks ending May 3, marking the category’s first definitively negative month of 2026. Of course an early Easter (and a lap against last Easter in mid-April) plays a part in these latest four week trends. Beer dollars were only down 0.3% in the four weeks to April 26, but
