A-B to Buy Blue Point

February 5, 2014Dear Client: Anheuser-Busch today announced it has agreed to purchase New York-based Blue Point Brewing Co., one of the nation's top craft brewers with more than 40 beers and sales concentrated along the East Coast, in a move that will bring additional resources to Blue Point's operations, allowing it to meet growing consumer demand for its awardâ€'winning brands, per company release. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed. Anheuser-Busch's purchase of Blue Point is expected to close in
