A-B has Best Q1 Ever

**ALERT**Anheuser-Busch reported the best first quarter in the history of the company. Domestic beer shipments were up 4.6% for the first quarter 2006, and distributor STRs were up 3.3%. On a selling day adjusted basis, STRs were up 1.7%.The company said Bud Light grew mid-single digits (selling day adjusted). Wholesaler inventories at the end of the first quarter 2006 were about one day lower than at the end of the first quarter 2005.The company's estimated domestic market share (excluding exports)
