A-B Distributor Files For Bankruptcy

Dear Client: You don't see this too often. A high share A-B distributor, Earl Gaudio & Son, in southern Illinois has declared Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Meanwhile, a county judge approved the sale of Earl Gaudio & Son to Skeff Distributing Co., which is expected to close by the end of the year. The bankruptcy comes on the heels of a family squabble between granddad, dad, and son. Earl Gaudio, 91, filed a motion in early June requesting a preliminary injunction
