Back in Black: Guinness Makes its Comeback

"We will be the most progressive, consumer-inspired and fastest growing beer company in the U.S. by 2021," said Diageo Beer Co. chief Nuno Teles at their distributor meeting in Baltimore this week. Pretty ambitious goal, but DBC has been steadily improving their trends since 2015, from being down to creeping up each year to now experiencing 15% depletion growth last quarter, driven by both Guinness and their Smirnoff FMBs, and that growth appears to be accelerating for both sides of the business.
