Another Rough Showing for Shipments in October

Dear Client: Another round of monthly shipment data is in from the Beer Institute, and it’s another rough showing -- save for some modest growth in import shipments. IMPORT SHIPMENTS MANAGE MODEST GROWTH, BUT BACK IN THE RED YTD. Yep, import shipments were the lone bright spot in this October data, managing 2.1% growth, as the top four source countries posted growth, with Mexican imports up 2.7%, Dutch imports up 1.1%, Canadian imports up 24%, and Irish imports up 11.6%.
