Constellation Beer Reports Depletions up Almost 10%

Dear Client:It's another good quarter for Constellation Beer. They've just sent note that their Q1 fiscal 2017 tallies saw beer depletions up almost 10%, with organic shipments up almost 12% (without recent acquisition, Ballast Point) and 14.3% overall (with Ballast added back in). Beer net sales/revenues were up 19%, mostly due to a 15% increase in organic net sales, "driven by volume growth and favorable pricing."Beer revenues reached $1.15 billion in the quarter.
