Walmart Initiating PO Program with A-B

Dear Client:A-B is initiating a program with its largest account, Walmart, on a centralized purchase order program whereby Walmart will generate store-specific orders and transmit them to A-B headquarters in St. Louis and to the Walmart stores, BBD has learned. A-B then will relay the invoices to their wholesalers directly to their RAS systems, where the wholesaler can then review the PO for accuracy, presumably before the trucks are loaded.
