MillerCoors to Take Marketing Assessment for New National Brands

September 26, 2013 Dear Client: While importers and some craft brewers have taken per-case marketing assessments for new brands or line extensions, now MillerCoors is fronting a new assessment on distributors for its two new brands launching nationally next year: Miller Fortune will cost an extra 75 cents a case and Smith & Forge will be a buck. MillerCoors says these new intros come with a "significant cost." Starting with those two brands, "new nationally marketed brands and line extensions"
