Craft Gets a Shout Out from the NBWA Stage

Dear Client: At the National Beer Wholesalers Association’s annual conference, the focus usually tends to center on the wholesalers carrying the largest beer brands in the country. So when craft got a shoutout from the main stage during this morning’s general session, your editor's ears perked up.   Indeed, Peter Heimark, president of Southern California-based, independent Anheuser-Busch wholesaler Heimark Distributing, noted that there has been continued consolidation on the craft side of the business leading to a “shrunken path to market.”
