Beer Had a Great Week

Dear Client: Circana scans for the week ending March 22 from Scott Scanlon (capturing the St. Patrick's Day carryover) showed total beer up 2% in dollars versus year ago in MULO+C, with imports at +5.3% and super premium surging +8.4%. Beer volume was +0.2% for the week, a marked improvement from the trailing 52-week trend of -3.5%.  The brand-level performance is hard to argue with.
