Craft Players File Emergency Suit Over Ohio Hemp Bev Shutdown

Dear Client: While there are still several months before a federal ban on intoxicating hemp beverages could take effect, in Ohio the clock is ticking down to days. Recall, the Ohio General Assembly passed SB 56 late last year with language that would have allowed companies to manufacture, distribute and sell hemp-derived THC beverages until Dec. 31, 2026, effectively giving the category a runway to operate until the anticipated federal ban. But Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine vetoed that carveout in
