Trump Doubling Down on Tariffs Following Supreme Court Ruling

Dear Client:  It was a tariff talk-filled weekend after the Supreme Court ruled Friday that President Donald Trump’s key economic policy of issuing tariffs under certain emergency powers exceeded his authority, as Congress must authorize tariffs. Within 24 hours of the order being released, Trump had vowed to implement a 10% tariff on imports, and later on social media, said that tariff would be raised to 15%.
