A-B Announces 85% Stake in BeatBox for Price of “Up to” $490 Million, Path to Full Ownership

Dear Client:  It didn't take long from the time of that Wall Street Journal article to the official announcement: Anheuser-Busch has just announced plans to acquire a majority stake in BeatBox, known for its “Party Punch.”  The deal is slated to close Q1 2026.  Anheuser-Busch is acquiring 85% of BeatBox for a purchase price of up to approximately $490 million with a path to 100% ownership after five years based on a predetermined pricing formula, per announcement. This transaction is
