Dear Client:First Texas, now Florida is getting behind its craft distillers. Earlier this week the Florida governor signed a bill in to law that will allow the state's distillers to sell spirits out of their facilities. The legislation goes into effect July 1 and only applies to distillers producing 75,000 gallons a year or less. Opposition to the legislation came primarily from Florida's Retail Beverage Council (FRBC) and distributors who opposed creating another exception to the three tier system. Giving
