Journal: A-B Morale Taking Hit

The Wall Street Journal's Deal Blog today tackles the culture at ABI, saying that while the merger between A-B and InBev "has been a success" when viewed "on paper", "U.S. employees struggle to adapt to their new leaders' intense focus on cost-cutting and profit margins." The Journal cites the company's own annual surveys which measure "employee engagement". The verdict? "The company's North America zone, which accounts for 46% of the brewer's profits, ranked last among its six major regions in the recent results," says the WSJ
