Diageo-Guinness USA chief Pete Carr announced this morning that it is making more organizational changes to the company, as DGUSA has experienced some "significant challenges over the past few years." Recall that DGUSA added more feet on the street about a year ago, going right into the teeth of this recession. Pete writes to distributors that the "tumultuous external environment, means we need to reduce our cost base."
