New Era of Global Consolidation?

That's the premise of a Deal Journal post regarding the dancing of the elephants we've witnessed over the last ten years. The big global brewers -- and here we're talking about Anheuser-Busch InBev, SABMiller, Carlsberg and Heineken -- have filled their time buying up smaller breweries in emerging markets. But now, it appears all the low-hanging fruit has been picked, and the big brewers are left selling assets to each other to fix their balance sheets.
