Many years ago, when I was a struggling little newsletter editor and I had about five readers, I gave a speech to a state beer distributor convention. After my talk, I was surprised to be approached by veteran A-B marketing pro Bob Lachky, who was the keynote speaker. To my surprise he introduced himself and asked if we could have a beer, and beers we had.
