The news has been seeping out there for awhile, but it's my personal regret to report that our friend JB Shireman, the longtime "guru of goodwill" at New Belgium, is leaving the company next month to pursue other opportunities (one being the possible purchase of a local Fort Collins-area watering hole, which we visited last month and signaled our approval by spending two long nights there). JB also wants to stay closer to home to spend more time with his son.
