NBWA chairman Mitch Watkins (president of Watkins Distributing) told listeners at the "Legislative Briefing" yesterday afternoon that they had the biggest turnout in years with almost 1,000 folks in attendance. We have to assume that the controversial nature of the CARE Act must have peaked distributors' interest. He told the audience that we're "so fortunate" to have solid teams in the beer industry, with everyone from receptionists to delivery truck drivers. "You're the face of the American beer industry."
