Grupo Modelo chief Carlos Fernandez was happy to report how good the U.S. has been to his brands in Friday's fourth quarter and full year earnings reports call. The U.S. market helped boost the company's export volumes by 2.9% in the fourth quarter and 3.7% for the full year. Fourth quarter exports represented 26.2% of their total volume mix, in line with the 26.1% of 2009; for the full year, share of exports of their total volume was up ever so slightly at 30%.
