"The past two years have been about cutting, but this year it seems to be more about building back." So said one A-B distributor as we disembarked the bus after the intensive two day Anheuser-Busch distributor convention in New Orleans this week. This convention brought back some of the glamour and glitz of years past, with the Clydesdales making an appearance in the convention (and on Bourbon Street the night before), their newly painted black #29 Bud NASCAR stock car racing through, inside fireworks which nearly made me dive under the chair next to me in a panic, a confetti bomb with the confetti in the shape of red bow ties, and a band appearing on a turnstyle as Dave Peacock closed the meeting with a rousing speech
